The town of Monson is seeking a FT Director of Facilities to plan, organize, direct, and control all aspects of the Municipal Maintenance Department operations, inclusive of building maintenance, plumbing, heating and air conditioning, electric as well as building security, construction projects and all other facility related management for town building and properties. Successful candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or master craftsman’s level of trade knowledge: three to five years of experience with building maintenance trades such as plumbing, carpentry or building maintenance/repair work with at least five years of demonstrated supervisory skills or any equivalent combination of related education and experience that enables performing all essential functions of the position. Required to respond to or be on-call for emergency situations outside of normal work hours. Class D driver’s license required. Grant writing experience preferred. This is a 40- hour/week, exempt position with a starting salary of $72,000 and excellent benefits.
