Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
The Human Resource Director manages and supervises the Human Resources Department to achieve goals with strategic resource allocation; develops, guides, and proposes executive management information and support needs; maintains and communicates records required by law and local governing requirements. The Director will plan, lead, direct, develop, and coordinate the policies, activities, and staff of the Human Resource (HR) Department, ensuring legal compliance and implementation of the organization’s mission and talent strategy. Collaborates with senior leadership to ensure the organization’s goals, strategies and policies related to staffing, recruiting, and retention are sound and enforceable.
