The town of Scituate seeks qualified applicants for the position of Director of IT.
Position is responsible for the technical administration of the town’s various networks, workstations, mobile devices and servers. Work includes: administration of the town’s various networks; providing user support for software, hardware, all computers, servers and peripherals; providing design enhancements and updates for the town’s websites; solving end user questions and resolving problems as needed; providing basic end user training in operating system, network, and applications; budget preparation, procuring equipment and services; and performing a variety of technical support and assistance functions.
Bachelor of science degree in information systems or a related field or equivalent work experience and a minimum of 10 years of experience in IT Management with direct experience supporting computer/server hardware/software and LAN/WAN support.
Compensation for this nonunion salaried position starts between $95,000 to $110,000 annually, DOE. Complete job description available on town of Scituate website.
