The town of Danvers seeks applicants for a full-time (benefitted) management position of Director of Operations for the Public Works Department. This position reports to the Director of Public works and is responsible for the day to day operations of the Water, Sewer, Buildings, Grounds/Forestry, Equipment and Street divisions of the department. The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, public administration, or related field and 10 years of progressively responsible experience in a municipal public works department; excellent interpersonal skills; and a valid driver’s license. This position works 40 hours per week (Mondays – Wednesdays 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.; Thursdays 8 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.; Fridays 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.) Management pay scale, $94,325-$125,924. Starting rate DOQ, excellent benefits (health and dental insurance, paid time off, retirement plan).
