Please join the vibrant Northampton community as Director of Planning & Sustainability. This full-time position is responsible for planning, directing and managing the city’s comprehensive and strategic planning, conservation, sustainability, resiliency, sustainable transportation, place-making, community engagement and entitlement/permitting functions.
Salary Range: $84,385.60 – $110,718.40
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in urban planning or a related field and with at least five to seven years of progressively responsible experience, including management experience, in the planning field, or any equivalent combination of education and experience, required. Master’s degree preferred.
Certification by the American Institute of Certified Planners required.
Massachusetts Class D Driver’s License required.
