The Massachusetts Police Accreditation Commission (MPAC), which is based in Amesbury, MA, and offers an accreditation process for law enforcement agencies across the Commonwealth, is seeking applicants for the position of Director of Program Operations.

The Director works under the direction of the Executive Director in guiding law enforcement agencies through the state accreditation process.  Day-to-day duties include assisting Accreditation Managers with various start-up tasks, technical assistance, in-person monitoring of agency assessments, and maintenance of compliance documentation.  Responsibilities also include assisting the Executive Director in conducting business meetings and training programs and management of social media.  Some in-state travel is necessary. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate on a professional level are required.  Attention to detail, effective organizational skills, demonstrated writing skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.  Should have a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business, project management or other related discipline.  Salary range is $65,000-$80,000 commensurate with qualifications.  Conditional offers of employment are subject to a background investigation and CORI check.
