Seeking hands-on professional for Public Works Department; Highway, Sewer, Cemetery and Parks, Transfer Station, Fleet Maintenance/Fueling facility. Position includes daily operations management, storm and emergency response operations, capital and operational budgeting, and interaction with residents. Position is a non-union, salaried position w/ full benefits.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or appropriate discipline, prior experience in public works or construction operations plus five years of supervisory/management experience or any equivalent combination of appropriate education, training, and experience. Experience with State and Federal Departments; MEMA, FEMA, DOT, DEP and EPA.

Preferred Qualifications: Registered Professional Civil Engineer.

Required Licenses: CDL-B at time of hire and Hoisting 2A within six months of hire. All applicants must be able to pass a criminal background/CORI check and a pre-employment physical including drug testing. Starting Salary: $95,000-$110,000 DOQ w/ full benefits.
