The city of Lowell is seeking qualified, experienced, and energetic candidates for the position of Downtown/Business Coordinator in the Department of Planning and Development. This position reports to the Director of Economic Development and will have the primary responsibility for identifying and implementing business retention, support and recruiting programs in the business districts. Activities will include visits and interviews with Lowell business owners, meeting with residents and building owners, and identifying business assistance needs. The Coordinator will assist with neighborhood-scale implementation of city plans and support business districts undergoing roadwork and construction projects. Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in the field of business administration, marketing, urban planning, public administration or related fields. Valid driver’s license required. Salary range is $61,158.55 (min) to $65,796.72 (max) annually; 35hrs/week.
