The town of Hopkinton is hiring a DPW Mechanic to perform skilled mechanical maintenance and repair on town vehicles and specialized public works equipment. This role involves diagnosing and repairing gasoline- and diesel-powered equipment, maintaining hydraulic and electrical systems, performing welding and fabrication tasks, and supporting construction, maintenance, and emergency response operations.
Candidates must possess a Class B CDL and a 2B Hoisting License, along with several years of experience at the journeyman level or equivalent. The position requires reliability, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
