Full-time DPW Operations Manager
The town of Harvard has a vacancy in the Department of Public Works for an Operations Manager. This is a full-time/year-round position (40 hours/week). This position is the lead operations assistant to the Public Works Director and is responsible for managing and directing the day-to-day operations of the Department, and the assigned activities of its personnel.
High school graduate with eight years’ experience in public works construction or related field, at least three years of which were in a supervisory position; or associate degree in business or civil engineering with five years’ experience in public works construction or related field, or any equal combination of education and experience. Municipal experience in Massachusetts strongly preferred.
Possession of a valid motor vehicle operator’s license and OSHA 10 are both required. CDL, hoisting license and similar public works specific licensures preferred.
Full range pay rate is between $38.91 – $52.52 with an expected hiring range between $38.91 and $41.87 depending on education, experience, qualifications, and licenses.
