Economic Development Director/Planner
The town of Millis is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the part-time position of Economic Development Director/Planner. This position supports and coordinates the efforts of the Economic Development Committee and the Planning Board to ensure effective communication and collaboration between town officials, municipal departments and businesses located in Millis. Qualified applicants must be available to attend EDC/Planning Board meetings/events outside of normal business hours. Grants administration, marketing experience and website development are an asset, as is comprehension of state and local government.
Applicants require a bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university: or one to three years related experience and/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience. Public relations, superior customer service and writing skills preferred.
This is a 19 hour (non-benefited) per week position; the hourly rate pay range is $36.34 – $39.73 per hour.
