The town of Danvers is seeking applicants for a full-time, benefitted position in the Electrical Engineering Department.  Depending on qualifications, the town will hire the applicant as either a Senior Electrical Distribution Engineer, an Electrical Distribution Engineer, or an Electrical Engineer. The preferred candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, with a concentration in power systems, and five years of electrical distribution experience; however, candidates with less than five years of experience are encouraged to apply as well. A candidate with the preferred qualifications will provide electrical engineering services, design and manage the town’s distribution construction projects, evaluate and plan for the growth of the system, and perform other related work. This position works 40 hours per week Mondays – Wednesdays 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.; Thursdays 7 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.**; Fridays 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.** (**schedule rotates: Thursdays 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. and Fridays 7 a.m. – 11 a.m.) Union pay scale, with the ability to move through scale (via step system):

Senior Electrical Distribution Engineer pay scale: $89,100-$113,369

Electrical Distribution Engineer pay scale: $85,699-$104,848

Electrical Engineer pay scale: $76,389-$96,262
