Electrician

The city of Somerville is in search of an Electrician. The Electrician performs skilled electrical work at the journeyman level. Installs and maintains all municipal and city fire alarm systems. Maintains the city’s street and park lighting, including underground conduits, wiring, bases,  poles and fixtures. Installs, tests, repairs and maintains electrical circuits, wiring systems, fixtures, appliances and equipment. Inspects and tests circuits and fixtures. Uses electrical OHM test equipment such as meters, voltmeters, ammeters, growlers, multimeters, and other test equipment.

Safety Sensitive Position.

Hours: Full-Time

Salary: $1,153.28 + $50 weekly plus benefits
