EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS GRANT MANAGER

The Division of Public Health seeks applicants for the position of Emergency Preparedness Grant Manager, responsible for coordinating regional health and medical emergency preparedness planning and response activities in collaboration with regional and state partners; and overseeing all contractual and fiscal operations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH) Health and Medical Coordinating Coalition (HMCC) grant.

This position requires 24/7 availability in the event of a disaster, and requires flexibility to attend meetings and trainings outside of normal business hours. Additionally, the incumbent will serve as 24/7 Duty Officer on a rotating basis. In-state travel and minimal out of state travel is required. Candidates must have access to reliable transportation.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business/public administration, finance/accounting, public health, emergency management, or a related field.
  • Experience developing and implementing high-level plans, policies, and/or budgets.

SALARY: $55,559.74 – $72,653.44 annually, full-time, exempt, excellent benefits package.
