The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator oversees safety and environmental activities for Upper Blackstone’s facilities and assets. This role updates, supports, and maintains safety programs, policies, and related activities to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures.
The Environmental Health and Safety Coordinator identifies ways to reduce workplace injuries, accidents, and health concerns; conducts employee training on applicable safety standards; reviews safety training and recommends updates and improvements; performs safety inspections and audits to assess compliance; inspects safety equipment and recommends replacements; drafts and implements internal safety standards and policies; and reviews accidents and incidents reported by employees and facility visitors.
Requirements:
Any combination of closely related experience, education, certifications, licenses and training which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to qualify and perform the duties for this position will be considered. ($37.57/hour – $51.20/hour). Accepting applications until August 31.
