Our members are the local governments of Massachusetts and their elected and appointed leadership.
Position is responsible for providing support, coordination and professional management to protect the community’s natural resources including its bio-diversity, wetlands, watershed and other water resources. Assist in the planning, acquisition, administration and management of municipal conservation land and wetlands. Responsibilities include evaluation and project analysis of municipal wetlands including ponds, brooks, creeks and salt marshes; develop strategies to increase health and biodiversity and ongoing care of natural resources. Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field, experience in wetlands protection, land conservation, environmental management or related field (three years required, five plus years preferred).
