The town of Hull, a scenic coastal community with beautiful views and a strong sense of community pride, is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented individual to join its Police Department as the Executive Assistant to the Chief of Police. This full time position follows a 35 hour per week schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Under the direction of the Chief of Police, this position is responsible for providing executive level administrative assistance to the management staff of the Police Department. Responsible for maintaining complex records systems relating to human resources, budgeting, accounts payable/receivables, inventory, grant management and other functions impacting the entire Department.
The ideal candidate will have an associate’s degree, bachelor’s degree preferred, with five to seven years of administrative related service preferably with municipal experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with accounts payable, payroll, collective bargaining and preparing budgetary reports is preferred. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines are essential.
The salary range for this full time position is $60,000–$65,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience, and includes a competitive benefits package.
