The Andover Public Schools seeks a highly a capable executive assistant with excellent administrative and customer service skills to assist and support the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services and provide comprehensive services to special needs students, their teachers and parents, as well as the community at large. Student Services is dedicated to providing specialized services to students with educational disabilities and students with 504 accommodation plans; as well as nursing services, social work services, and mental and behavioral health services.
Duties include general secretarial support, coordinate and track confidential Medicaid eligibility services, liaise with the Transportation Coordinator regarding transportation requirements for special needs students, build and maintain databases required for program planning, coordinate records requests and rejected IEPs, as well as supervise up to three office clerical workers.
Duties require two years of secretarial or business school with knowledge of office administration and automated office systems, as well as three to five years of related experience. Ability to maintain confidentiality is essential. Starting salary range is $59,145-$70,546 along with excellent benefits.
