Old Colony Planning Council (OCPC)
The Old Colony Planning Council is seeking applications for the position of Executive Director. OCPC is the designated regional planning agency for a diverse and scenic region encompassing one city and 16 towns, nearly 400 square miles of land area, and over 370,000 residents. OCPC is located in Southeastern Massachusetts approximately 20 miles South of Boston. OCPC provides a wide array of planning programs and services, which include transportation, land use, community development, environmental quality, elder services, historic preservation, economic development, clean energy, data compilation/analysis and municipal shared services, among others.
Candidates for this position should possess a demonstrated working knowledge of community/regional planning, economic development, agency management, finance, personnel administration and intergovernmental relations. Position requires, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in planning, public administration or another appropriate discipline with 15 years of increasingly responsible supervisory and management experience, master’s degree strongly preferred. Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience with the normal starting salary anticipated in the $120,000 to $145,000 range. OCPC is an EEO/AA employer.
