The town of Wrentham is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to assist with the maintenance, repair and improvement of various town facilities and equipment. Under the direction of the Director of Facilities and Capital Planning, performs maintenance and routine upkeep of buildings, supervising and scheduling building custodians and implementing systems to prioritize, plan and deliver services to maintain town properties.
Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of a high school diploma. Associate’s degree in engineering, facilities management, construction management, erchitecture; or related field preferred; and/or a combination of education and work experience will be strongly considered. Minimum of two to three years of experience in facilities maintenance, carpentry or trades.
Additional Requirements: Commonwealth of Massachusetts License in one or more of the major trades (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Construction, etc.) is desirable. Valid Massachusetts motor vehicle operator’s license; Ability to successfully pass Wrentham Public Schools and town of Wrentham background checks.
Salary: Full-time, benefit eligible, non-exempt position. Salary range: $25 – $32.50 per hour; 35 hours per week.
