Facilities Department


Salary Range FY22 $86,555.72. – $95,472.

The purpose of this position is to supervise the custodial and maintenance staff of the Facilities Department and to ensure routine and preventive maintenance is done on time and efficiently.  The Facilities Department is responsible for the efficient maintenance and operation of town and school buildings. This position will be responsible to ensure that all town and school buildings are maintained in a safe, secure, clean, comfortable and functional manner for all staff, students and visitors to public facilities.  This position will also assist in the development and implementation of capital projects. This is a full time 40 hour per week fully benefited Exempt Management position.

Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in construction management, civil engineering, construction engineering, architecture or a related field. Five years of progressively responsible custodial and maintenance supervision experience, or any equivalent combination. Requires of a Class D license. Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) strongly desirable.
