Littleton, NH (6,000 pop.), seeks experienced public sector CFO to be the town’s next Finance Director upon the retirement of its long tenured incumbent. Located along the I-93 corridor in the beautiful White Mountains Region well known for four season adventurous outdoor recreation such as biking, hiking, boating, fishing and all manner of downhill sports. With the NH Lakes Region just one hour south, the Littleton area offers an ideal life/work balance. Known for its bustling, quintessential New England downtown, Littleton enjoys extensive development and growth including a rapidly expanding commercial and industrial base. Reports to the Town Manager, and will become a critical member of the town’s leadership team managing a municipal operating budget of approximately $10 million including several funds (Sewer, Parks and Rec, Transfer Station, etc.)

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and seven to 10 years of progressively responsible experience in municipal accounting/finance; or equivalent combination of education and experience that demonstrates likely success in the position.
