The town of Foxborough is seeking a dynamic financial professional to fill the role of Finance Director/Town Accountant. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated leadership skills to develop our Finance department and move it into the future as a cohesive, high-functioning department. The purpose of this position is to provide the management of the town’s financial functions; perform technical accounting, financial and computerized functions in maintaining the fiscal records and systems of the town; administer all internal and external financial reporting requirements; and interpret and administer federal, state, and local laws, regulations, and policies relevant to municipal financial management; perform all other related work as required.

Qualifications: bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a related field, master’s degree preferred. Five or more years of progressively responsible related experience in a professional accounting environment.  Supervisory experience is required, municipal experience and CGA and/or CPA certification preferred.

This is a non-union position with a hiring range of $115,000-130,000, depending on qualifications.
