Reviews collective bargaining agreements and projects costs of proposals and implementation.  Assists in maintaining uniform system for financial planning and operations and prepares Schedule 19 for School Department.  Performs risk analysis; reviews potential liabilities regarding property, casualty, and liability coverage;

  • Develops strategies to reduce risk exposure.
  • Monitors the expenditures of funds.
  • Performs financial analysis for special projects.
  • Generates extensive financial reports.
  • Participates in collective bargaining process.
  • Participates in all aspects of annual budget cycle.
  • Performs a variety of related duties as assigned
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, public administration, or business administration preferred, supplemented with three to five years of experience in governmental finance, preferably at the local level; or any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the essential functions of the job.
