The town of Braintree is seeking a Financial Analyst to analyze, compile, and assist with capital and operating budgets for the Department of Public Works under the general supervision of the Public Works Director. Completes reports as needed for informational and planning use. Prepares source and uses schedules and assists with grant processing for all funds. Directly responsible for oversight of all utility funds within the department. Prepares, reviews, and verifies utility rates and projections. Requires a bachelor’s degree with fiscal emphasis supplemented by five years of related work experience. Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or like certification and knowledge of computerized financial applications in a utility environment preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid state of Massachusetts driver’s license.
