Belmont, MA (26,123) A full-service fire/rescue and EMS department made up of 56 sworn personnel including an Assistant Fire Chief, five Captains, 13 Lieutenants, 36 Fire Fighters and one administrative staff member.
The Department operates from two fully staffed stations and provides EMS services at the paramedic level. Approximately 4,800 fire and EMS calls per year. Current annual operating budget of $5,900,000.
BA/BS in related field, MA/MS preferred; seven plus years of municipal fire/rescue experience including five plus years in a supervisory, command position. Massachusetts/National EMT certification. National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer, Massachusetts Chief Fire Officer credentialing preferred.
Starting salary to $160,000 DOQ. EOE.
