The town of Paxton is seeking an experienced fire service professional for the position of Fire Chief. Position is part-time (20 hours) but could evolve into full-time. The Fire Department is part-time/on call with a full-time EMS and ALS transport service. Recommended qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in fire science, seven years of active firefighting experience, with supervisor/administrative experience as a Deputy-Chief, Captain or Lieutenant; or combination of both education and experience.
