Swansea Fire Department seeks full-time Dispatcher to answer routine business, emergency 911, and box alarm calls and dispatch appropriate apparatus via radio.
At minimum, candidates must possess high school diploma or GED. Preferred candidates will hold valid certification as Public Safety Telecommunicator and Emergency Medical Dispatcher through APCO International. Any combination of experience and training, which provide the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for the position will be considered.
