City of Nashua Fire Department
The city of Nashua seeks to fill four new Dispatcher positions. The incumbent will process emergency calls for assistance in an expeditious and accurate manner to best serve the needs of the citizens of Nashua. Other duties include directing incoming calls to appropriate departments, giving information and directions to the public, maintaining required logs, and monitoring alert systems and other duties as assigned. Qualifications include a minimum of two years emergency communications experience, the ability to perform all job functions under emergency conditions, ability to operate various computer equipment, electronic business equipment, and municipal fire alarm system and the ability to respond to emergency call-backs in a timely manner.
