FULL-TIME PUBLIC SAFETY DISPATCHER
Duties and responsibilities include but not limited to: receiving and recording calls and requests for service or information; maintaining accurate and timely computer entries; receiving and transmitting radio communications; coordinating back-up support activities.
Qualifications: At least 21 years of age, high school diploma or equivalent, availability for all shifts, current APCO EMD, CPR, and E911 Telecommunication certifications.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure, strong communication and computer skills, and knowledge of dispatch equipment.
