Community Development – Grants Division – Interested in working in one of the most dynamic cities in New England?  Want to work in a fast-paced and collaborative environment?  The City of Gloucester is seeking qualified, experienced, and energetic candidates for the position of Grants Administrator to lead our growing Grants Division within the Community Development Department.  Currently, the Grants Division oversees more than $1.5 million in State and Federal grants and is always seeking additional grant opportunities.

This position is responsible for the overall administration and management of City programs funded through grants received, while actively seeking access to additional grants.  The Grants Administrator initiates and manages new and innovative programs to meet the City’s goals and needs.  Supervises all Grants Administration staff. Excellent written and oral communication skills are needed.   Excellent interpersonal skills are required.  The ideal candidate will have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in public administration or related field, with 3-5 years of related professional experience.
