The city of Gloucester is now accepting applications for the position of Health Inspector. Primary responsibilities include those related to field inspection and investigative work to promote food safety and environmental sanitation and to assure compliance of sanitary laws, rules, codes and regulations. Provides support, as directed, for other permit inspections and complaint investigations under the regulatory purview of the Health Department. This is a full-time, 35 hour per week position with benefits. Salary range is $28.08-$40.67 per hour depending upon experience.
