Highway Maintenance Crafts Worker/CDL Driver

Performs skilled manual work requiring journey worker level skills in the construction and repair of roads, streets, and sidewalks; journey worker level work in masonry, carpentry, and other related construction work. Operates pickup trucks, dump trucks, and panel trucks, or other vehicles with a rated capacity of 26,001 pounds. Performs other semi-skilled and unskilled manual tasks necessary for performance of work. May supervise a small crew of workers at a lower skill level such as laborers, helpers, and maintenance workers. Two years of experience in the construction and repair of roads, streets, and sidewalks required. Valid CDL Class B license, Department of Transportation medical certificate and proof of unattested driving record is required. $20.94 – $28.60 per hour + excellent benefits (see full posting re: potential stipends and list of benefits).
