Highway Skilled Laborer

Job Description

The town of Tyngsborough seeks qualified applicants for the position of Skilled Laborer in the Department of Public Works – Highway Division. Under general supervision of the Senior Foreman, the Highway Skilled Laborer operates highway department vehicles and equipment, performs construction and maintenance activities that include, but are not limited to, roads, parks, fields, beaches, drainage, sidewalks and snow removal. CDL Class B required.

This is a full-time (40 hour/week) benefit-eligible position. The position is covered by the SEIU Local 888 Highway Union. Anticipated salary range for this Grade 4 position will be Step 1-3 ($29.63 – $30.96) in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
