The town of Cheshire, Massachusetts is seeking a qualified individual to fill the position of Highway Superintendent. This position performs skilled technical and manual work in the supervision and operation of the Highway Department under the supervision of the Board of Selectmen and the Town Administrator.
This position is to manage, direct and maintain all town ways, designated state numbered highways of recognized town responsibility, other ways in use as previously approved by the Board of Selectmen and Town Meeting, and associated public drainage facilities and easements, town owned buildings, facilities and grounds in a good serviceable and safe condition at all times, utilizing staff, contracted equipment.
