Share your housing talent and join our mission driven team! The Housing Development Division seeks qualified candidates for Housing Subsidy (HS) Programs Analyst.
The HS Programs Analyst is a new position in EOHLC’s Division of Housing Development (DHD). The DCD’s goal is to produce and preserve private sector affordable housing units in communities throughout the commonwealth. One way the division attains this goal is by providing funding opportunities to developers who build or rehabilitate affordable housing units.
The Programs Analyst serves as primary reviewer for subsidy funding applications; completes all aspects of application review, including a technical analysis of project feasibility and conformance with federal and state regulations; tracks subsidy commitments and expenditures; and prepares funding recommendations for subsidy program managers and the Director. Provides direct technical assistance to project sponsors/borrowers and team members (attorneys, architects, CPAs, contractors, etc.) through meetings, phone calls, and correspondence.
The ideal candidate has demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of real estate financing, and housing and portfolio management. They enjoy both collaborative and independent work, understand program administration and oversight, and possess an enthusiasm for details and technical analysis.
