Director of Human Resources is responsible for the administration and coordination of the town’s human resources, including: recruitment; pre-employment screening;  background checks; compensation benefits; personnel policies; employee development and training; assisting with collective bargaining; and providing advice and support to departments on HR issues.

The successful candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and at least five years of relevant experience, with demonstrated skill and ability in recruiting, employee development, labor relations, project management, and municipal HR administration.
