The town of Wayland seeks qualified applicants for the position of Human Resources Manager. Reporting to the Town Administrator, the HR Manager administers HR functions in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, town bylaws, and town policies. Coordinates with the Town Administrator and the Benefits Manager to administer key HR functions, including hiring, employee performance, compensation and classification, employee benefits, insurance, departmental budgets, and other projects, as assigned.
This position requires knowledge equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in human resources, public administration, business administration, or a related field and at least two years of related professional experience, preferably in a municipal or governmental setting.
