The town of Hampton, NH (estimated population 15,500) is a dynamic Rockingham County community rich in tradition with a vibrant and expanding economic base, seeking a full-time Human Resource Director to perform complex professional and managerial functions related to all human resource functions and to assist the Town Manager with administrative duties in town operations and functions.
This position will manage all human resource functions for the town including the administration of the personnel records management, recruitment and selection of employees, labor negotiations and labor relations.
Education, Training and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in administration, finance, human resources or related field plus five years progressively responsible experience in municipal government with two years at a supervisory level; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Work week is 40 hours, salary range is $75,712 to $102,211, commensurate with qualifications and experience, the town offers an excellent benefit package and state retirement. Pre-employment testing to include educational and criminal background, medical and drug screen. Valid Driver’s license required.
