The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for the provision of administrative services in support of the operations of the Human Resource Department for the school and town involving a wide range of human resource services including but not limited to employee benefits, unemployment, CORI/SORI/Fingerprint record tracking, accounts receivable/payable, fiscal reporting, staffing/recruiting, compensation, employee relations, workers compensation, ethics compliance, drug testing, and collective bargaining projections. The employee is required to perform all similar or related duties.

Associate’s degree and three to five years of human resources, accounting or related administrative support experience. Experience may be substituted for degree requirements. Ability to analyze reports and other data and have up-to-date PC software skills. Strong spreadsheet skills a must and prior experience with the MUNIS municipal software a plus.

Up to $26 per hour depending on experience.
