The town of Derry, NH is seeking energetic, innovative, highly qualified candidates for the position of Human Resources Director. Reporting to the Town Administrator, the Director will be responsible for all aspects of a comprehensive Human Resources Department and will exercise considerable influence on matters of policy development and personnel management.

The successful candidate will have strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.  The position requires a bachelor’s degree with five to 10 years’ related experience, and a thorough knowledge of all aspects of human resources management and resource planning, including employee/labor relations (preferably in a public sector setting), salary and benefits administration, collective bargaining, employment law compliance, employee training, and safety administration.

This is a part-time position, approximately 28 hours per week. Salary will depend on qualifications.
