The town of Stoneham is seeking to fill the full-time 40 hour position of HVAC Technician will perform highly skilled HVAC services at all town and school facilities, including installations, diagnosis, maintenance and repair to ensure well-functioning operation of mechanical, plumbing and HVAC services. Responsibilities include: oversight of all computerized HVAC controls to run boilers, HVAC and ventilation systems at all facilities. Preventative and regular maintenance. This position reports to the Facilities Director.
Requirements for this position are: associate’s degree or high school diploma/GED with certificate and training from an accredited trade school. A minimum of five years of working as a professional HVAC Technician in a school district or commercial environment. Candidate should have extensive experience handling, installing and fixing HVAC equipment and automated building systems control software. Valid Massachusetts driver’s license required. Valid Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician (HVAC) License or equivalent.

The town of Stoneham offers generous benefit package in addition to competitive salary. Hiring range $67,000-80,000 commensurate with education and experience. Open until filled. First review of applications will be on March 9.
