The town of Norfolk offers a full suite of benefits and the opportunity to earn a pension through the Norfolk County Retirement System! The town has an immediate opening for a full-time HVAC Technician/Building Maintenance employee. The incumbent performs general HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) maintenance and repair duties in all municipal structures and general building maintenance repairs within the town.
Requirements: Current and valid driver’s license; Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician’s License; EPA # 608 Refrigerant Certification (Universal); three to five years’ experience in commercial building heating, ventilation, air conditioning systems, and associated equipment and controls; and knowledge of Building Management Systems (Metasys JCI, Automated Logic Web CTRL, and pneumatic controls).
Education and Experience: High school/trade school diploma; Vocational training certificate(s).
