Job Description

The town of Carver seeks candidates for the position of a full-time Information Technology Manager. Responsibilities include providing end user support, customer service assistance to town staff, troubleshooting, installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, peripherals, associated software and performing user administration. The candidate will also effectively manage technology inventory, installation, repair, maintenance, updates/upgrades, IT budget and procurement.

The qualified candidate will preferably have a minimum of three years of IT experience, understanding infrastructure and support; CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+ certifications preferred; Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite, with knowledge of its applications, including Intune, Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID/Azure AD.

Experience with virtualization technologies, along with a strong background in configuring and managing firewalls preferred as well as familiarity with Remote Monitoring and Management platforms.

This is a non-union position with a starting salary range of $81,317-$89,780 DOQ, and a full salary range of $81,317-$101,101.  detailed job description is available on our website under Employment Opportunities: www.carverma.gov.
