Position: Interim Town Manager

Wages: Salary is negotiable and commensurate with experience.
The town of Middleborough, a community of approximately 24,500 residents, located in Southeastern Massachusetts, is seeking an experienced, forward-thinking Interim Town Manager who demonstrates strong financial acumen and strong operational leadership. The Interim Town Manager will provide steady oversight during a period of transition, ensuring continuity of services, and effective coordination across all departments.
Reporting to the Select Board, the Interim Town Manager is responsible for generally fulfilling the Powers and Duties of the Town Manager, as defined in Section 18-22 of the Town Charter: ecode360.com/30455948#30717663.
The successful candidate should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree; a minimum of five years of relevant municipal experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience. The term of this position is anticipated to be two – six months.
