Job Description

The Millis Police Department is seeking qualified, motivated, and community-oriented candidates for the position of Patrol Officer. This position performs law enforcement and public safety duties including patrol operations, emergency response, investigations, traffic enforcement, and community policing initiatives.

Candidates must currently serve in a full-time law enforcement capacity and possess Massachusetts MPTC Police Academy certification, a valid Massachusetts Driver’s License, and a valid Massachusetts LTC. Additional certifications may be required or obtained upon appointment.

Final candidates must successfully complete a physical examination, psychological evaluation, and comprehensive background investigation.
