The Eastham Public Library, a vital community resource, is seeking their next Library Director. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead the Cape’s ALA/AIA award winning public library. The town of Eastham seeks qualified applicants for this full-time. This position requires command of library software and applications, familiarity with technological trends, superior ability to write & speak effectively. Collaborates with trustees, volunteers, town & library staff and the public and serves as liaison with municipal government & the community at large. Proficient in municipal finance management. Master’s degree in library and information science (ALA accredited institution); five years of experience in library administration, Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners certification supervision of staff and/or direct service work in a public library; or an equivalent combination experience. Salary range from $78,183 to $98,589.
