The town of Oxford is currently accepting applications for a full-time benefit eligible Media Production Coordinator.

The Coordinator is responsible for the operations, oversight, and programming of the local cable access channels, website, social media, graphic design, and other related duties.  This is a 40-hour per week, exempt position with benefits. This position does not have defined work hours. The employee will be required to work a combination of hours during days, evenings and weekends (when applicable), to meet the requirements of programming, training, taping, and broadcasting.  This position will allow the selected candidate to fully develop the role, associated departmental leadership responsibilities, and have a significant voice in the direction of the community communications. The position will work closely with Town Manager and have oversight in growing department in a manner, which best meets the informational and programmatic needs of both the community and government services.

The minimum qualifications for the Coordinator position are a bachelor’s degree in television production, film, communications, or a related field; certification in radio and television broadcasting; three to five years of experience in public access production; working knowledge of robotic and ENG video cameras, network-managed video system controller, broadcast modulators, Non-Linear Editing software i.e. Final Cut Pro and Adobe; Premiere Pro for editing, HTML, Java script, CSS (cascading style sheets), content management systems, and Photoshop.
