The town of Danvers is seeking applicants for the full-time (benefitted) position of Network Engineer for the IT department. This position designs, monitors, and maintains the town’s network infrastructure based on the best interests of the town and regional partners. Implements and utilizes the latest technology to ensure the town meets the compliance requirements of, but not limited to, NERC-CIP, NCUA, and CJIS. Evaluates and implements new products ensuring the town keeps up with industry leaders.
Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and a minimum of five years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, experience with VMWare strongly preferred. A complete job description is available at www.danversma.gov/jobs.
This position works 40 hours per week (Mondays – Wednesdays 8 a.m.–5 p.m.; Thursdays 8 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.; Fridays 8 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.). Salary range $79,788 – 97,219, DOQ.
