The town of Dighton is seeking qualified applicants to serve as the Office Manager to the five-member Zoning Board of Appeals. The Office Manager shall work 20 hours per week to assist in administrative duties, record keeping, and coordinating meetings. Duties include posting meeting agendas, taking minutes, and interacting with the public seeking variances. Organization and customer skills are integral to the success of this position. Applicants must have thorough knowledge of all applications of the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, and must be detail oriented. Accuracy is a must. Must have a firm understanding of town zoning bylaws and the comprehensive permit process, knowledge of 40B regulations, and the ability to work independently. Evening meetings are required. High school diploma/GED is required as is at least two years of office and clerical experience. College experience preferred.
